Key Responsibilities

• Work with management and staff to implement EH&S strategy
• Conducts comprehensive EH&S audits to identify hazards and monitor corrective actions.
• Drive the culture of safety ownership at all levels of the organization
• Conducts training sessions at facility level.
• Monitors adherence to established quality standards, recommending changes as needed
• Interacts with customers and suppliers to aid in resolution of major quality issues
• Performs periodic testing and documents results for certification and compliance purposes

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

Have 5-10 years of working experience in an industrial environment

In-depth knowledge and experience in applying QHSE legislation, and regulation in industrial environment

Experience in facilitating training and providing leadership to colleagues.

Experience conducting ISO certification audits

Expertise in claim / complaint management preferred

Knowledge and Skills

In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations.

Fluent verbal and written communications skills in Arabic, French and English

Safety Related Certificate is mandatory -NEBOSH Certificate plus

Knowledge or certification in ISO 9001-14001-45001 (Lead Auditor certification is Plus)

Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
