About the role :
The purpose of the position is to optimize the positioning of the company's products by analyzing the market and the main competitors and by putting the profitability objectives into perspective.
Tasks :
- Manage the Pricing & Profitability team :
- Optimize missions and tasks
- Ensure consistency in the team's work methodology
- Highlight the pricing guidelines within the catalog and in relation to the competition;
- Analyze and share the results of the Competitive Intelligence Pricing ;
- Monitor and analyze the market : competition, price levels, impact of specific events
- Implement pricing techniques and tools
- Define and optimize the positioning of the company's products thanks to a relevant analysis of the market and the competition, in particular for new products;
- Define the price positioning methodology;
- Define the margin and discount policy by product segment and market
- Analyze fluctuations (quantities, sales prices, cost prices, market prices, raw material prices, economic indicators, etc.) by evaluating their impact in order to propose adapted price changes and their arguments in a reactive manner;
- Establish and update price lists;
- Continuously assess product performance and the impact of price movements;
- Identify and implement performance indicators, and propose pricing recommendations;
- Prepare evaluation reports and present solutions.
